Qualifications: 25 years with the Juneau Symphony, 20 as principal. Former student of Phil Farkas, preceded by Art Frantz and Mort Schaeffer; studio players in Los Angeles. Owner of Juneau Brass & Winds (sales, rentals, repairs of brass wind and stringed instruments) x 30 years. Founder of the Juneau Brass and Woodwind quintets. Teaching beginning music in elementary and middle schools, local area.
Playing Experience 25 years with the Juneau Symphony, 20 as principal and soloist. Recorded on the Airborne label x 3 albums, Principal with Amalga Chamber Orchestra and Juneau Bach Society. Soloist and ensemble player for many visiting chamber and brass groups requiring a free-lance hornist.
Teaching Experience: Teaching privately for the past 25 years (as of 2009). Several students have gone on to become professional players.
