Other Details "Willie Berg invented Stonelined Mutes in 1935. They are among the finest brass instrument mutes available in the world. Stonelined Mutes play perfectly in tune and are easy blowing. Stonelined Mutes deliver the perfect professional sound all the time. Included in the many Stonelined Mute features that allow the outstanding colors of sound is the secret formula used to line each and every Stonelined Mute." This mute is in good condition. Corks are fully intact. A wrist/hand strap has been added to the bottom of the mute with a screw eyelet. Adjustable tuning mechanism is only secure at the bottom or top of the mute - it will not stay in position in between. Price new from online music retailers is approximately $45.00 USD.
