Other Details This is a really excellent Paxman 25L in yellow brass with detachable bell. I am only the second owner, and it has been played professionally for at least the last 7 years. The horn has been maintained excellently and is in great shape. The valves are tight, fast, and quiet. There is lots of metal left on the horn, but the bell is thinner than the bells paxman is making now. This horn has a wider timbral range than the other Paxman's I have played. A very warm, clear sound that brightens up easily at louder dynamics. The thinner bell makes the horn extremely responsive and the high range couldn't be easier (works ideally for Brandenburg, Konzertstuk and the like).
